Editorial Process
homesmartly publishes every article through this 8-step process.
1. Topic Selection
We analyze category-specific search trends and identify "data gaps" in top-10 SERPs — primary sources that competitors aren't citing.
2. Primary Source Collection
For every article we collect 8+ primary sources from academic databases (PubMed, SSRN), government filings, manufacturer specifications, and verified measurement publications (RTINGS, Wirecutter).
3. AI-Assisted Drafting
Drafts are written with AI assistance (Claude, ChatGPT) grounded in the collected sources. We do not insert personal opinions or experience-based testimonials.
4. Automated Source Verification
Every external URL is fetched automatically; cited statistics are cross-checked against the source page. Any failure puts the article on hold.
5. AI Detector Threshold
Articles must score below 30% on Originality.ai to publish. Above threshold triggers automatic rewriting.
6. Auto-Generated Visuals
Every article includes 5 visual assets (infographic, comparison table, data chart, diagram, product illustration) plus a 30-60 second summary video — all auto-generated.
7. Quarterly Re-Verification
Every quarter (Mar·Jun·Sep·Dec) all published articles are re-verified for source freshness. Price changes, updated statistics, and policy shifts trigger automatic updates.
8. Corrections Policy
Errors are corrected within 24 hours of discovery, with the correction logged inline. Reader corrections to editor@.
